CSC^™: Cancellous Structured Ceramic

Through proprietary manufacturing techniques, AMEDICA has developed a porous ceramic substrate whose structure mimics that of natural cancellous bone. Similar in structure and porosity to cancellous bone, CSC may prove effective as an osteoconductive scaffold for critical skeletal attachment. CSC has potential application as an insert in spinal spacers, as well as a porous backing for TDR's and Hip and Knee implants.
