Valeo^® C • Cervical Spacer

The Valeo Cervical Spacer is made of MC2 silicon nitride, a twenty-first century ceramic proven in jet engines, race cars and even the space shuttle – high stress conditions requiring exceptional strength, durability and reliability. Amedica has patented this technology to create the Valeo C, an implant designed to restore the biomechanical integrity of the anterior, middle, and posterior spine for a prolonged period of time, even in the absence of fusion.

Demonstrating excellent imaging compatibility, our Cervical Spacer appears ghost-like under x-ray and fluoro, with no CT or MRI artifacts. Its inferior/superior surface knurling resists migration, and its unique hollow core design accepts autograft. The spacer is shaped to ease insertion and, of course, is presented sterilized and pre-packaged.
