Jonathan Stupka

Vice President, Operations

Jonathan Stupka joined Amedica in December, 2007 as Vice President of Operations. He has over 28 years of experience with cardiovascular, orthopedic and spine medical devices ranging from design through component manufacturing, assembly and packaging.

Mr. Stupka's previous position was Executive Vice President, Engineering-Operations and Chief Operating Officer at On-X Life Technologies, Inc. where from May, 1994 thru November, 2007 he played a pivotal role in the design and manufacture of the On-X© prosthetic heart valve along with being responsible for the contract manufacturing arm of this business.

Prior to this, Mr. Stupka was actively involved in all aspects of engineering and manufacturing of medical device implants for CarboMedics, Inc., Intermedics Orthopedics, Inc., Calcitek, Inc., and Carbon Implants, Inc. He is a named inventor on a number of patents, holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and is a Professional Engineer in Texas.
