Ken Eakin

Vice President, Sales

Ken Eakin joined Amedica in July, 2008 as southwest regional sales director and was promoted to Vice President, Sales in April, 2009.

Mr. Eakin has over 30 years of experience in mid and senior management positions in the spine, orthopedic, general surgery and cardiovascular markets. In these positions, he has managed diverse groups of direct, distributor/agent and hybrid sales and marketing organizations in both public and private companies with a focus in startup technologies.

Prior to Amedica, Mr. Eakin served in mid and senior management roles with Orthologic, Endius, Orthovita, Aesculap as well as a senior management role with Delmar Reynolds Cardiovascular.

Mr. Eakin began his career in pharmaceutical sales with G. D. Searle where he was promoted from the field to various management positions. He holds a BS degree in management from Texas State University.
